The finished object is shown first: a precise mechanical silhouette by day and an atmospheric illuminated sculpture when powered.

INTERNAL ENGINEERING

The visual effect begins inside.

The internal system was redesigned around light behavior and physical assembly. PETG carries illuminated parts, PLA preserves structure, and the copper-coil pieces were remodeled for a cleaner fit.

A dedicated carrier keeps the light source hidden and stable.

02 / COPPER COILS

Remodeled coil elements improve proportion and assembly.

03 / PART MAP

Electronics, structure and finish are planned as one object.

LIGHT CONTROL

Diffusion, not glare.

LED placement and wiring paths were arranged to distribute light through the translucent components without visible hotspots. The result keeps the center bright while preserving the mechanical layers around it.

Test. Adjust. Rebuild.

Light leakage, heat, wiring, assembly tolerances and surface behavior were solved through physical tests—not left as digital assumptions.

PROJECT NOTES

A technical rebuild with a visual purpose.

Digital modification, custom component modeling, print planning, electronics integration, light diffusion and layered physical finishing transformed the base model into a complete illuminated object.

The original Arc Reactor base model is not an original sculpt by Can Kulak. The portfolio focus is the modification, production, electronics, lighting and physical-finishing process.
